The drilling rig project in Kvaerner Warnow Werft 1998-2001
Searching for new orders in end of 1997, I was ask to join Kvaerner Warnow Werft's planning team.
I entered the ship yard and worked as employee until April 2002. The main tasks I followed up are listed below.
Compiling building methodologies for sections of a container vessel CV2500, spring 1998,
Responsible project engineer for an investment into a panel production line, 1998/1999
Responsible planning engineer for building methodologies for the drilling rig project "Stena Don".
This was including the full participation on the project preparations and on technology decisions

Compiling the over all building methodology
Preparations of onshore investments for structural supports
Organisation of technology purchasing
Leading engineer for compilation of shop technologies (up to 10 employed engineers)
Hiring a heavy lift barge for float out (two years in advance)
Preparation of 2 Jack-Up operations (1500 t and 1600 t)
Compiling of a float out technology of a non stabile separate starboard pontoon
Compiling of a float out technology of the drilling rig
Preparation of the towing of the rig to Stavanger
Preparation of the disconnection and separation of rig and barge
